An easy and inexpensive main course soup that comes together in minutes with items you can find anywhere!

Recipe Ingredients for Auntie Mae's Hamburger soup

1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cans (482g) cream-style corn
10 ounce frozen mixed vegetables
12 ounce vegetable juice
10 ounces water
1 tbsp beef bouillon granules
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Auntie Mae's Hamburger soup

  1. Brown ground beef and onions in a large dutch oven. Drain off any grease. (I use 98% lean beef, so often there is little to none.)

  2. Add cream-style corn, frozen vegetables, vegetable juice, water, bouillon, and seasoning to taste.

  3. Simmer until vegetables are warmed through.
