Never do Ragu again! This is absolutely fantastic and so easy! Use this for pasta or for pizza sauce. You will be amazed!

14 1/2 oz tomatoes
1 tbs tomatoe paste
1 tsp sugar
2 tbs olive oil
1 onion, medium chopped
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbs balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Aunti Joanies Famous Marinara - Yum!

  1. Cook the chopped onion in the olive oil until translucent.

  2. Add the crushed garlic and cook over medium heat until golden brown.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and the seasonings below and stir slowly over a low heat until completely mixed.

  4. Add 1 1/2 tsp oregano, 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp salt (to taste) and 1/2 tsp pepper (opt.)
