Recipe Ingredients for Aunt Dee Dee's Chili

7 lbs kidney beans
1 large green pepper
2 cups canned stewed tomatoes
3 tbsp hot sauce
2 cups cooked onions
17 oz chili sauce
3 tbsp chili powder
1 1/4 lbs 96% lean ground beef

Recipe Directions for Aunt Dee Dee's Chili

In a large pot combine beans, tomatoes, ketchup, hot sauce, and chili powder. In a skillet brown beef until course and brown. Chop onions and pepper, put on top of beef and let cook on high for a while - then turn heat to low on pot of beans. Drain beef and combine with beans. Then turn temp to simmer for 10-15 minutes. Typically makes 20 - 1 cup servings.
