Asparagus Soup-1 cup our of 10 cups

Recipe Ingredients for Asparagus Soup-1/10 recipee

1 1/5 lb fresh asparagus
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
4 tbs butter
6 tbs all-purpose flour
48 oz chicken broth
3 cups fat free milk
1 tsp dried dill weed
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
1 cup yogurt

Recipe Directions for Asparagus Soup-1/10 recipee

  1. Cook asparagus & butter in sauce pan 8-10 min.

  2. Sprinkle wiht flour.

  3. Continue to cook 5-8 min.

  4. Add chicken broth, cook 8-10 min. till thickened.

  5. Puree.

  6. Pour hot milk into asp/onion/stock puree.

  7. Add dill & pepper.

  8. Heat gently, do not boil

  9. Add whole pieces of asparagus tops back into soup.
