Recipe Ingredients for Asparagus, Artichoke and Shrimp Casserole

1/2 pound asparagus, steamed and cut into 2-inch pieces
14 ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
3/4 pounds shrimp, cooked and deveined
1/4 cup mushrooms
3 tablespoons butter
2 1/4 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup of whipping cream
3/4 cup of milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
1/4 cup cooking wine or dry sherry
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Asparagus, Artichoke and Shrimp Casserole

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Layer asaparagus and next 2 ingredients in a 2-quart casserole dish. Lightly saute mushrooms in butter (2 tablespoons butter). Layer over shrimp. Melt remaining butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add cream and milk stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth. Stier sherry and worcestershire sauce. Pour sauce over mushrooms. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.
