Easy to make, tasty, inexpensive ingredients. Note: arrowroot is for thickening, I use it because it is mostly fiber, but any thickener can be used.

Recipe Ingredients for Asian style Ground Beef and Peppers

1 1/2 lb ground beef
420 g Tofu
1 c green pepper
1 c banana pepper
2 cup zucchini
1 cup onion
1 cup celery
33 g arrowroot
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp tabasco
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp fennel seed
1 tsp ginger

Recipe Directions for Asian style Ground Beef and Peppers

  1. In medium/large pot brown ground beef, drain half of fat

  2. Add cubed tofu, onions, and peppers, simmer 10 minutes.

  3. Add zucchini and celery.

  4. Mix arrowroot in 1/2 to 1 cup cold water until it dissolves and slightly gels

  5. Stir arrowroot gel into pot

  6. Stir in soy sauce, tabasco, and spices

  7. Bring pot to a boil and immediately reduce heat to low

  8. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  9. Serve over raw spinach.
