Recipe Ingredients for Asian-spiced beef burgers

2 tbsp ginger, ground
1 red onion
2 chili peppers
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp fish sauce
500 g lean ground beef
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp olive oil
1 large carrot
150 g cucumbers
1 cup lettuce, shredded
4 rolls, hamburger

Recipe Directions for Asian-spiced beef burgers

  1. In a blender, blitz ginger, onion, chili and garlic until finely diced. Add this mixture and the fish sauce to the beef. Let this rest for 30 minutes. Shape into patties.

  2. Meanwhile, cut carrot and cucumber into strips using a vegetable peeler. Toss in a vinagrette made from the olive oil, fish sauce, and lime juice.

  3. Fry the burgers, Toast the buns. Spread lettuce on the buns, place patties on lettuce, top with carrot and cucmber salad - done!
