Recipe Ingredients for Asian Salmon

16 oz salmon fillets
1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp grated fresh gingerroot
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp maple syrup
2 green onions, chopped

Recipe Directions for Asian Salmon

  1. Place salmon in a pie plate or shallow dish.

  2. Combine remaining salmon ingredients; mix well.

  3. Pour marinade over salmon; let stand 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Heat a ridged grill pan over medium heat until hot.

  5. Add salmon, discarding marinade; cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until salmon is opaque and firm to the touch.

  6. or

  7. preheat oven to 425 degrees and wrap salmon in aluminum foil and pour marinade on top of salmon.

  8. Cook for 20 minutes or until salmon is opaque and firm to the touch.

  9. Serve with brown rice.
