Recipe Ingredients for Asian Pea Pods with Almonds and Sesame

16 oz Peas, Edible-podded
1 serving (Trader Joe's) Slivered Almonds
1.32 oz Butter
1 large Egg, Yolk
1 1tsp Oil, Sesame
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Ginger, Ground

Recipe Directions for Asian Pea Pods with Almonds and Sesame

  1. Defrost frozen pea pods in a Teflon pan.

  2. Add slivered almonds, sesame seeds, sesame oil and ginger.

  3. Stir, cover and cook about 5-10 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, melt butter in microwave for a few seconds.

  5. Add egg yolk and whisk until smooth.

  6. Add to the mixture in the pan and mix through.

  7. Cook for another 5-10 minutes and serve.
