Recipe Ingredients for Asian Noodles

8 oz whole wheat pasta
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 green onions, finely sliced
2 carrots, finely sliced
1 T sunflower oil
1/2 c mushrooms
3 T oyster sauce
1 t sesame oil
1/2 head Chinese cabbage, roughly shredded
1 c bean sprouts

Recipe Directions for Asian Noodles

  1. Cook noodles in plenty of boiling water until done al dente, drain and set aside.

  2. Heat a wok, cast iron skillet, or large pot with the oil. When almost smoking, add the garlic. Stir fry about 30 seconds or less.

  3. Add green onions, the carrot and mushrooms. Cook for about 3 minutes, then add the oyster sauce and sesame oil. Cook another 2 minutes, then add the cabbage and noodles to the pan. Toss well, turn the heat off, then add the bean sprouts.

  4. Serve straightaway.
