Recipe Ingredients for Asian Lettuce Wrap Filling

1 pound ground pork
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 tsp salt
150 g plum sauce
8 oz water chestnuts
1 cup diced red bell pepper
1 cup sliced green onion
1 tbsp minced fresh ginger root

Recipe Directions for Asian Lettuce Wrap Filling

Heat wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork, garlic, and salt; stir-fry pork until it is no longer pink, about 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Add plum sauce, water chestnuts, bell pepper, green onion, and ginger root. Cook stirring often until pork is evenly coated with sauce and mixture is heated through, about 1-2 minutes. To serve, spoon into lettuce leaves and wrap. Serve immediately.
