Fun take on asian salad ...you can drop the garlic if you don't like it...but I LOVE it! Easy to make and to double for picnic/family dinner.

16 oz Fresh Discoveries Broccoli Slaw
1 cup Water Chestnuts (Sliced)
1 cup Harvest Choice Mandarin Orange Segments
1 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
12 ounces Boneless, skinless chicken breast tenderloins
6 oz Newman's Own Lighten Up Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing
1 oz Sesame Seeds, Whole, Roasted And Toasted
2 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Asian chicken salad healthier

  1. One 16-oz. package (about 5 1/2 cups) dry broccoli cole slaw

  2. One 8-oz. can (about 1 cup) sliced water chestnuts, drained

  3. 1 cup canned mandarin orange segments packed in juice (or light syrup), drained and chopped

  4. 1 cup chopped scallions

  5. 12 oz. cooked and chopped skinless lean chicken breast

  6. 3/4 cup low-fat sesame ginger dressing (like Newman's Own Lighten Up!)

  7. 2 cloves of garlic minced

  8. 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds

  9. Mix it all well together and enjoy!
