Recipe Ingredients for Asian chicken lettuce wraps

1/3 c. hot water
2 tbsp. peanut butter
1/3 c soy sauce
1/3 c brown sugar
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. ginger root, grated
1 tsp. lime juice
1/4 tsp. lime zest
2 tbsp. green onion
3 c. cooked chopped chicken
2 heads of iceberg lettuce
1 c. carrots
1 cucumber
1/3 c. peanuts

Recipe Directions for Asian chicken lettuce wraps

  1. Combine hot water and peanut butter until smooth.

  2. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, ginger, lime juice, lime zest, and green onions.

  3. Add half the sauce to the chicken, save the other half to drizzle over wraps.

  4. To assemble wraps: fill lettuce leafs with about 2 Tbsp. chicken mixture; add carrots, and cucumber. Drizzle a little sauce and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top. Roll up to eat.
