Recipe Ingredients for Asian Beef Skewers

2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 pinch of sugar
1 lb sirloin steak, trimmed of all visible fat, cut into 16 strips

Recipe Directions for Asian Beef Skewers

  1. Preheat the grill. If you are using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes

  2. In a gallon-size zip-close plastic bag, combine the soysauce, ginger, vinegar, oil, pepper, garlic, and sugar; add the beef. Seal the bag, squeezing out the air, marinate 15 minutes.

  3. Wiht tongs, remove the beef from the marinade; discard any remaining marinade. On each skewer, thread the beef strips on. Grill until cooked though, about 5 minutes on each side.

  4. May serve with Chinese mustard
