Using up veggies before they go bad.

Recipe Ingredients for Asian Beef and Mushroom Saute

0.5 cup Onions
0.25 cup, chopped Broccoli
1 oz Light Soy Sauce
3 clove Garlic
8 oz Beef, Flank
0.25 cup Chicken Broth
2 cup pieces Mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Asian Beef and Mushroom Saute

  1. Marinate sliced flank steak in soy sauce and ginger for 30 minutes

  2. Chop veggies and set aside

  3. In a large skillet, add chicken stock and saute garlic, onions and broccoli over medium heat 5 minutes.

  4. Add flank steak (discard remaining marinade), 2 T soy sauce and more ginger (if desired).

  5. Cook until steak is medium rare.

  6. Add mushrooms, reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer 10 minutes.

  7. Enjoy by itself or over rice.
