Low calorie, low fat alternative to eating pizza at your favorite restaurant. :) A "diet" item the kids will even enjoy!

Recipe Ingredients for Ashlyn's Homemade Pizza

1 1/2 cups water
3 tbsp water
2 tbsp canola oil
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp dry milk, fat free
2 tsp salt
5 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp yeast
1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced
6 oz Canadian bacon
3 cups mozzarella cheese, low fat, part skim, shredded

Recipe Directions for Ashlyn's Homemade Pizza

  1. Place first 7 ingredients in bread machine in order.

  2. Place on dough cycle and wait for it to get done (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes on mine).

  3. Then divide the dough into three equal balls.

  4. Roll out each ball into a 13 x 9 inch sheet.

  5. Place on greased baking sheet. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  6. Top each with 1/2 cup pizza sauce, 1/2 cup mushrooms, 1/3 package Canadian bacon (I but the one that is shaped like little pepperonis, works out perfectly, you get 22 little circles per pizza this way), and 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

  7. Yields: 36 servings. Yum!!
