Recipe Ingredients for Artisan Bread

2 cups flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp yeast
1 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Artisan Bread

Mix together dry ingredients. Add water and mix well. Let sit, covered, for 12-24 hours in cool place. Heat oven to 500 degrees with covered casserole dish or dutch oven inside. Add dough to dish, cover and bake 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
