These succulent waffles are the perfect start to any morning.

Recipe Ingredients for Arti's Sourdough Banana Whole Wheat Waffle

4 oz whole wheat flour
2 oz wheat bran
8 oz water
2 eggs
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 banana
2 oz water
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Arti's Sourdough Banana Whole Wheat Waffle

The morning before mix the flour, bran and water into your starter. This is my standard feed for my starter which works out nicely because I don't waste any of the good stuff. The next day mix eggs, 2 oz of water and banana with a stick blender until smooth and foamy. Add your starter and whisk to combine. Spring your baking soda over the top and whisk quickly for 10 seconds. Bake in your favorite waffle iron. Serve with your favorite toppings.
