Recipe Ingredients for Arroz con Pollo

6 Serving Chicken
28 oz Stewed - Mexican Recipe
1 cup Pasilla Chile
1 cup, sliced Onions
0.529 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tsp Chicken Base
5 clove Garlic
2.5 cup Rice, White, Short-grain, Cooked

Recipe Directions for Arroz con Pollo

Brown chicken in olive oil with onions. Puree (2) cans Mexican style stewed tomatoes in blender and add to pot with chicken. Add 2 cups chicken broth. Add 3 roasted, skinned and diced pasilla chilies. Add 5 smashed cloves of garlic. Simmer approx. 1.5 hrs or until chicken is incredibly tender. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over white rice.
