Recipe Ingredients for AP's Hypoallergenic Oatmeal Cookies

1/4 cup canola oil
155 ml Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup barley flour
1/4 cup flax meal
3/4 cup golden raisins
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for AP's Hypoallergenic Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees F

  2. Grind 3/4 Cup Rolled Oats until it makes a course flour

  3. Put all Oats, Flour, Salt, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Raisins into large bowl.

  4. In seperate smaller bowl, combine oil, syrup and vanilla.

  5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until combined

  6. Spoon onto parchment lined baking sheet.

  7. Use hands if easier, as the batter is sticky, at the end, wet hands slightly to finish shaping cookies.

  8. The cookies will not spread during baking (no butter) so they can be placed close together on the cookie sheet.

  9. Bake for 11 minutes, rotate pan and bake for another 3-4 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes on sheet, transfer to cookie rack. After fully cooled, store in airtight container.
