Recipe Ingredients for apricot pie

3 cups flour
3 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
3 sticks butter
2/3 cups water
1 egg white
1 pinch of salt
24 oz apricot jam

Recipe Directions for apricot pie

  1. knead flour, sugar, salt, water, egg yolks, butter by hand until well mixed. refrigerate overnight.

  2. divide into 2 equal parts. roll out first half until 1/2-3/4 cm thick. fold into ninths. roll out to size of rectangular baking sheet and place on sheet. spread jam on top. roll out and fold and roll out second half of dough as before. cut into strips and crisscross the top of the pie. glaze with egg white. bake 390F for 30 min.
