Dried apricots coverd in a sort-of ganache. Depends on how many apricots you use -- takes about 55 or so.

Recipe Ingredients for Apricot Hearts

13 ounces dried apricots
6 ounces dark chocolate
1/8 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Apricot Hearts

  1. In a double boiler (or a bowl put over a pot of boiling water) melt together the milk and chocolate chips.

  2. When smooth and creamy, dip the dried apricots in the chocolate and allow to dry on aluminum foil or parchment paper (plastic wrap OK.) Allow to dry overnight and store in a cool dry place.
