Apricot and Endive Braised Poultry

Recipe Ingredients for Apricot and Endive Braised Poultry

1 tbsp flour
1 salt and pepper
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp butter
4 ounces red onion, minced
12 oz beer
1 1/3 cup apricots apricots
2 endive, halved

Recipe Directions for Apricot and Endive Braised Poultry

  1. Combine salt, pepper, cloves, and flour. Pat poultry dry, dredge in flour mixture.

  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium. Add poultry, brown on all sides, and set aside.

  3. Add onions, cook until softened. Pour in beer and apricots, bring to a simmer. Return poultry and nestle in endive halves. Cover and cook until poultry is done through, about 20 minutes.
