Recipe Ingredients for Applesauce Granola

2 cups oats
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 T. ground flaxseed
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup applesauce
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Applesauce Granola

  1. Zap the nuts until they are very very fine.

  2. Heat the honey and applesauce on STOVETOP (not microwave) until just heated and runny.

  3. Mix all dry ingredients. Then add honey and applesauce mixture.

  4. Spread on greased baking sheet. Bake at 300 until golden on top, stirring after about 20 minutes.
