Unpeeled apples cooked to a delicious mush.

Recipe Ingredients for Apples-Home Fried

8 apples (I used Empire)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. butter

Recipe Directions for Apples-Home Fried

  1. Core apples.

  2. Cut into wedges.

  3. Melt 1/2 butter in saucepan.

  4. Throw in apples. Cover.

  5. Cook for 10 minutes or so

  6. Add the cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg.

  7. Cook 2 minutes more.

  8. Add remaining butter. Stir to melt in.

  9. Yum!

  10. If you want to be a saint, you can use 1 tsp. of sugar and 1 pat of butter. Or none at all, but it's better with them. You might as well just eat the apples raw at the beginning. That's right.
