Delicious and all natural ingredients. But what you have can be substituted as well. One serving is two muffins.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Walnut Muffins

1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 apple
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup raw honey
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Apple Walnut Muffins

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.

  2. Whisk together dry ingredients in a small bowl, set aside.

  3. In a large mixing bowl add oil, egg, honey and vanilla. Stir until ingredients are mixed well.

  4. Add apples to dry ingredients, toss to coat.

  5. Add Walnuts to wet ingredients.

  6. Add apples and dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.

  7. Line muffin pan with cups, or spray to coat. Distribute mix evenly.

  8. Bake on 350 for 17 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
