Recipe Ingredients for Apple & sage pork chops

24 oz boneless pork chops
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion
3 granny smith apples
1 cup apple juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp thyme leaves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp paprika

Recipe Directions for Apple & sage pork chops

  1. mix flour, all of the spices in a small bowl. sprinkle both sides of the chops with 1 tablespoon of the seasoned flour

  2. cook chops in hot oil in large skillet on medium high head until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet. Add onion; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender. add apples cook and stir 2 minutes

  3. stir in juice, sugar and remaining seasoned flour until well mixed. return chops to skillet. bring to boil reduce heat to low.. ocver and simmer 5 minutes or until desired doneness
