Recipe Ingredients for Apple and Sage Pork Chops

1 1/2 tsp. Rubbed Sage
1 tsp. Minced Garlic
1 tsp. Thyme Leaves
1/2 tsp Ground Allspice
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 pounds boneless pork chops
2 tbsp. Olive oil
1 1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced
2 red apples, thinkly sliced
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Apple and Sage Pork Chops

  1. Mix flour, all of the spices and salt in small bowl. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with about 1 tbsp of the seasoned flour.

  2. Cook pork chops in hot oil in large skillet on medium high heat until browned on both sides. Removed from skillet. Add onion, cook adn stir 3 three minutes or until tender. Add apples, cook and stir 2 minutes.

  3. Stir in juice, sugar and remaining sesoned flour until well mixed. Return pork chops to skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until pork chops are done. Should reach 160 degrees in center of pork chop.
