Recipe Ingredients for Apple Raisin Nut Bars

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup dry oats
1/2 cup honey
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup whole milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 apple, cored and chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Apple Raisin Nut Bars

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking pan. In large mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, honey, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; stir to blend.

  2. Add milk, oil, and egg; beat just until blended. Stir in apple, dried fruit, and nuts. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and cut into 10 bars.
