Recipe Ingredients for Apple-Raisin 'No Freeze' Oatmeal Bars

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup unbleached flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 large apple
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup shredded carrots (optional)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Apple-Raisin 'No Freeze' Oatmeal Bars

Mix together oats, flour & brown sugar. Cut in butter until mix is crumbly. Add apples, raisins, carrots, cinnamon & salt. Mix well. Pat into greased 9 x 9 pan and bake 40 minutes at 400 degrees. Cool in pan before cutting. Cut into 18 pieces.
