Apple Pie, w/Marie Callender's Pie Shell

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Pie

3 Apple Red Delicious Apples
0.33 cup Apple Sauce Original Organics
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
0.33 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 pie shell Pie Shells

Recipe Directions for Apple Pie

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Slice the apples very thin (peel them prior optional)

  3. Mix apple slices with apple sauce, vanilla extract, and lemon juice.

  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the bowl with the sliced apples.

  5. Dust the pie shell with flour before dumping apples into it.

  6. Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until apples are soft.

  7. Eight servings.
