Apple Pie, family favorite. Definitely not a calorie smart choice.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Pie

6 medium Apples
1/4 oz Tapioca
8 oz Pure Cane Sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tbsp Original Spread
8 oz Flour
4 oz All Vegetable Shortening
0.53 oz Distilled White Vinegar
1 small Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Apple Pie

Make 2 crusts, Cut in flour and crisco. Stir in approx. 1/3 c water (I like to add a small egg and 1 tsp white vinegar to water, wisk it first then spoon over flour mix, mixing with a fork. Keep mix slightly dry. Divide into 2 ball and roll out. Top & bottom crusts. Peel (or leave peels on) core, slice apples, add all othere ingredients (microwave covered with 1/3 cup water for about 2 minutes - should have water to boil - let steam for about 5 minute, just to soften apples sliglhtly). Then add to crust and top with crust. 1 tsp milk brushed on top crust with a sprinkle of cinamon sugar. Bake 400 degree 15 minutes, lower to 350 for approx. 30.
