3 cooking apples, sliced
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
1 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces

Recipe Directions for Apple Pie Filling

  1. In a large bowl, combine apples, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  2. Toss until apples are evenly coated. Spoon into pie crust and dot top with butter pieces.

  3. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until apples are tender when pierced with a knife.
