Recipe Ingredients for Apple pie (classic recipe)..filling only

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbs cornstarch
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbs unsalted butter
2 tbs lemon juice
3 lbs apples, sliced

Recipe Directions for Apple pie (classic recipe)..filling only

  1. Cut apples into slices. In small bowl, blend sugars, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt.

  2. Melt butter.

  3. Add lemon juice and butter to apples.

  4. Add sugar mixture to apples and mix well. Place apples into pie shell, cover with another crust. Microwave on high 14 minutes.

  5. Finish pie in 450 oven for 10-15 minutes
