Recipe Ingredients for Apple Pear Muffins

3 cups whole wheat flour
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups nonfat plain yogurt
2 cups diced apples
2 cups diced pears
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Apple Pear Muffins

  1. Mix all ingredients by hand, except the apples and pears.

  2. Once batter is mixed but not blended, add pears and apples by hand, and fold into batter

  3. spray muffin tins with Pam, bake for 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees or until tops are brown and fork comes clean from center.
