This is the sweet ending to my Teriyki Chicken and Veggie Kabobs. I served this desert with 1/2 cup fat free, no sugar added vanilla ice cream topped with a light dust of unsweetened cocoa powder on top.

1 Pear
1 Apple
2 packets Splenda
2 oz Minute Maid Light Orange Juice Beverage (use 1 Cup)
1/4 tbls Lemon Juice (Use 1 TBLS)

2 tbls I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Fat Free (you may be able to use butter flavored spray, I haven't tried it)

Recipe Directions for Apple and Pear Kabobs

  1. Pre-hear oven to 350.

  2. Cut up pear and apple into large bite sized pieces.

  3. Put in a bowl that has a lid. Pour juices over the fruit and then add half the cinnamon and both packets of Splenda.

  5. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 20-30 mins before taking out the fruit mixture.

  6. Thread fruit on skewers, alternating apple, pear, apple, pear...ect

  7. Place on pan and top with butter and the other half of cinnamon. Bake for about 15-20 mins.
