Apples and pears baked with cinnamon and nutmeg and covered with a buttery oatmeal topping.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Pear Crisp

2 pounds bosc pears
2 pounds apples
1/4 c flour
1/2 c sugar
2 T orange juice
2 T lemon juice
1 tsp orange zest
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Topping:
1 1/2 c flour
3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c sugar
1 c oats
1/2 tsp salt
1 c butter

Recipe Directions for Apple Pear Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Peel and core pears and apples. Cut into chunks in large bowl. Add flour, sugar, zests, juices, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix well and pour into a 9X13 baking dish.

  3. Combine flour, sugars, oats, salt, and butter in stand mixer. Mix on low speed until mixture resembles crumbs. Top apple mixture evenly. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
