from arabicbites.blogspot.com Awesome apple pancakes. Serve with powdered sugar or qaimar and honey for topping. You could also add a dash of vanilla powder into the recipe. They look more like hash browns than pancakes but they taste awesome when cooked right.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Pancakes

4 apples
2 eggs
2 tbs brown sugar
1 dash of cinnamon, ground
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup white flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tbs oil
1/2 tbs butter

Recipe Directions for Apple Pancakes

  1. Cut each apple in half and coarsely grate

  2. Transfer to large bowl, stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla powder (optional), vanilla extract, eggs, and flour

  3. Heat oil + butter in frying pan, shallow- fry 1/3c of mixture until golden brown both sides and cooked through (4-5 minutes per side). Flatten slightly during cooking

  4. Serve immediately and top with qaimar and honey or powdered sugar
