Recipe Ingredients for Apple Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/2 cups water
3 tbls almonds
3 apples
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Apple Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

  1. Boil water, combine with oats. Cook until thick. Set aside to cool.

  2. I used fresh apples and simmered them in water with a packet of Sugar In The Raw and a pinch of cinnamon. Drain apples and chop, add cinnamon, mix in almond almond butter(I make my own without oil).

  3. Combine oatmeal and apple mixture.

  4. Spray baking pan with cooking oil. I prefer 6.5 x 9" stoneware pan.

  5. Bake @ 350 for 30-25 minutes. Texture should be chewy.
