Tasty Apple oatmeal cookies that are healthy for everybody to snack on.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Oatmael Cookies

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour, unbleached
1 cup raisins
2 apples, diced (McIntosh)
3 cups Instant Oatmeal

Recipe Directions for Apple Oatmael Cookies

  1. Prehaet oven to 350

  2. Mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg

  3. Cream together the butter and sugar about 5 minutes.

  4. Add applesauce, eggs and vanilla to butter mixture mix until blended.

  5. Slowly add flour mixture and and continue mixing until blended.

  6. With a wooden spoon stir in apples, oats and rasins.

  7. Roll the tablespoon sized dough into balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
