muffins can use wholemeal plain flour which I prefer

Recipe Ingredients for Apple,oat,raisin muffins

1 gala apple
1 egg
125 g plain flour
150 ml sunflower oil
175 ml milk
75 g porridge oats
125 g plain flour
3 tsp baking powder
50 g caster sugar
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
150 g raisins

Recipe Directions for Apple,oat,raisin muffins

  1. 25 mins to cook at 180/350F/gas 4

  2. Beat egg then beat it into oil and milk. Mix everything else apart from apples in large bowl. Add egg/oil/milk and mix in.

  3. Cut peeled and cored apple into small pieces and add to mixture.

  4. Spoon into 12 muffin cases.

  5. Very easy for children to make.
