these are not very sweet at all. good for breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients for apple oat mini muffins

1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/4 cups whole grain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/8 cup white sugar
2 tbs wheat germ
1 egg
1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup vanilla soymilk
1 tsp canola oil
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup pecans

Recipe Directions for apple oat mini muffins

  1. preheat oven then mix everything by hand in a medium bowl. Grease muffin pan a lot -- they will stick.

  2. Bake the minis for 15 minutes at 400. Regular sized muffins, 20 minutes.
