Recipe Ingredients for Apple nut oatmeal

1 cup water
1/2 cup organic rolled oatmeal
1/2 medium granny smith apple, diced skin on
1 pinch cinnamon
1/8 cup walnut halves, chopped
1 tsp. organic brown sugar
1/2 cup non-fat milk

Recipe Directions for Apple nut oatmeal

  1. heat water in microwave to boiling point. I use beverage button on my microwave

  2. meanwhile chop apple

  3. add oatmeal, apple and cinnamon.

  4. cook on high 1 minute, then on level 8 for 41/2 minutes.

  5. let rest for 1 minute

  6. Stir in chopped walnuts and brown sugar

  7. top with skim milk
