Experimentation using flaxseed as a replacer for oil and for egg (as box says is possible to do!). Added whey powder for protein. Just used 2 tbsp raw honey and half a small-medium banana for sugar.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple-Flaxseed Protein Muffins

2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
6 tbsp milled flax seed
1 tbsp milled flax seed
3 tbsp water
6 tbsp skim milk
2 tbsp honey
1 cup chopped apple
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 scoop 100% Whey Protein
50 grams banana
