Recipe Ingredients for apple "date squares"

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 cups unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for apple "date squares"

  1. combine the first 3 ingredients

  2. melt the butter

  3. mix the butter with the dry ingredients

  4. press 1/2 of the mixture into a 9x9 inch greased pan

  5. pour the apple sauce over the top

  6. top with remaining crumb mix

  7. bake at 350 for about 30 min.
