Recipe Ingredients for Apple and Date Flapjacks

225 g butter
225 g soft light brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
350 g oats
2 apples
200 g dates

Recipe Directions for Apple and Date Flapjacks

Put butter,sugar and honey in a pan, heat until butter has melted. Remove from heat and stir in oats. Put appleas and dates in separate pan with 30ml water and cook on medium for 5 min, until apples are sofr. Drain if nexessary. Divide the oat mix in half and put one half in a lightly greased tin. Spread over the apple and date mix. Top with remaining oat mix. Bake at 180 for about 30 min. Leave to cool for 5 to 10 min then cut into 16 bars and allow to cool
