Apple Crumble Recipe

I'm not trying to make this particularly low calorie. But I do want it to be as healthy as possible while still tasting good. I did reduce the amount of sugar a little, but all the butter is still included. 1/4 cup of the oats was put in the food processor and converted to something that looks like flour.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Crumble

1 1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/8 cup packed brown sugar
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
5 grams lite salt
1 tbsp flax
4 tbsp butter
5 peeled apples

Recipe Directions for Apple Crumble

  1. preheat oven to 375.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix.

  3. Add butter(at room temperature) and work as

  4. a pastry with a pastry knife or your fingers.

  5. slice apples and put in a pie plate. Cover with crumble mixture.

  6. Bake 30 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes and enjoy.
