Recipe Ingredients for Apple Crumble

4 cups apples
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup steel cut oats
3/4 cup margarine
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Apple Crumble

  1. Heat oven to 350 F.

  2. Peel and cut up apples into chunks.

  3. Blend together sugar and margarine, then add flour, oats and cinnamon.

  4. Grease 9x9 pyrex dish.

  5. Toss apples in brown sugar (or 2 tbsp. maple syrup).

  6. Pour apples in dish, top with crumble mixture and press. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
