Apples with rolled oats, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour. Delicious!

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Crisp

1 1/8 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
8 granny smith apples
1/2 cup oats
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Apple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Combine 6 cups of apples with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of water in an 8 by 8 dish.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine 3/4 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 cup flour.

  4. Cut in 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick).

  5. Sprinkle on top of apples.

  6. Cook in oven 40-45 minutes.
