8 apples (peeled and sliced)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup shortening

Recipe Directions for Apple crisp

  1. peeled, slice apples

  2. mix together dry ingredients

  3. add shortening

  4. layer alternating apples and mixture

  5. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes
